I really like that inscription also. Probably going to use it. If you like the inscription there are a lot of places that can put it on an ornament or just about anything else you like if you still want it for your friend.

Thank you for taking the time to read one of Dana’s entries. I found a wonderful website called The Comfort Company. There’s a little bracelet with two charms on it. One is an angel and other other is a heart. “Angel Heart” is etched on the back. The bracelet is adjustable so I thought little Siri could wear it. There is one other bracelet that I love the inscription but not so much the design. It reads “What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose….All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.”

I am so sorry for your friend’s family’s loss. I personally, tho I have lost a husband, cannot even fathom what I would do if I lost one of my children. In this kind of situation sometimes there is nothing anyone can do or say except to let them know you are there.
I think an angel is a wonderful idea, just don’t forget Siri. Sometimes due to the focus of what has happened, the other siblings don’t get the attention. You wouldn’t want her to think you only care about Liv. It’s important that she understands there’s a great value in living. Like her father said in the journal entry I read, children have a way of conceiving their own ideas about things that happen. Unfortunately, alot of time they don’t know how to express themselves and grow up having a completely distorted idea of things.
